To set up the operating rooms at Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder), we developed an OR-CONSOLE® in collaboration with our OEM partner, featuring an integrated Medical-Grade All-In-One PC, which is precisely tailored to the customer’s specific requirements.
From the custom design to the bespoke hardware configuration, we created a solution that fits seamlessly into the existing operating room infrastructure.
The result is a high-performance, centralized operating room workstation that enables quick access to clinical information, supports efficient workflows, and ensures intuitive operation in the surgical environment.
ACL managed the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development and engineering to manufacturing, installation, and commissioning at Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder).

The integrated OR-CONSOLE® serves as the central control platform for the video, visualization, and documentation systems in the operating rooms at Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder). Equipped with high-quality IPS displays featuring high brightness, accurate color reproduction, and wide viewing angles, the system enables surgical staff to conveniently view video and image content, such as endoscopic images, vital signs, and patient information, from virtually any position within the operating room.
In addition, the OR-CONSOLE® provides direct access to and visualization of applications from RIS/PACS, HIS, and PDMS systems while supporting comprehensive clinical documentation. By consolidating all relevant information on a single platform, the system facilitates efficient workflows and ensures optimal information availability during surgical procedures. Comparable levels of integration and documentation can only be achieved with standard products to a limited extent or with significant additional technical effort.
The high-performance industrial-grade components are designed for continuous 24/7 operation and provide outstanding reliability, long-term operational stability, and investment security over many years. Developed specifically for use in operating rooms, the maintenance-free systems are engineered with future upgrades and extensions in mind. This forward-looking design allows modernization measures and functional enhancements to be implemented efficiently, without the need for extensive system dismantling or disruption to clinical operations.
The OR-CONSOLE® is water- and dust-resistant on the front. Air exchange is prevented by the fanless, completely enclosed design. The full-surface safety glass panel makes it fully disinfectable. The flush installation avoids surfaces or edges where dirt can accumulate.
A factory-calibrated DICOM Part 14 preset is available as an option, supporting optimal display of radiological image data.
The OR-CONSOLE® features a protective glass panel made of single-pane safety glass with anti-reflection (AR) coating as standard. It offers exceptional durability. The layout for the screen print can be customized.
Individually adapted to the respective application, the OR-CONSOLE® can be flexibly equipped with interfaces and switches. The number and position of the elements can also be customized.
