As a hardware manufacturer, ACL has a very high vertical range of manufacture and the technical know-how as its core competencies: By manufacturing all the relevant production steps in-house, we can guarantee the highest quality, individualisation, and delivery reliability. As a manufacturer of hardware in the patient environment and in critically hygienic areas, ACL considers the fulfilment of high standards and certifications to be a matter of course and an integral part of the individual production processes up to the finished product and, if desired, beyond that up to installation.
ACL is also available as a reliable partner for production steps up to complete OEM and ODM products. These can be produced in high quality, customer-specific, and even in small quantities.
With our own milling shop on 10 CNC milling machines, we are able to produce aluminium housings and copper parts to a consistently high standard of precision, fully automatically, from single pieces to large series.
The CAD/CAM construction drawings required for this work are provided by our own development department and can be individually adapted to your wishes.
A protective glass pane of aluminium-silicate glass meets the requirement for high impact resistance. This has a five times higher impact and scratch resistance than normal soda lime glass (float glass), and this with a glass thickness of 0.4 - 2 mm.
The glass is cut directly at ACL by a short-pulse laser. Short laser pulses with a high pulse power and energy density enable particularly precise cuts in the µm range, as well as preventing microcracks and achieving an extremely high overall cutting quality.
When printing with UV-curing ink, the ink is dried immediately under the influence of UV light. In combination with the right pre-treatment, we can print on glass, plastic, wood and metal in our clean room, from single pieces to large series. .
Alternatively, we also offer the possibility of ceramic printing.
When LCD modules and displays are connected, a small air gap is created which has a significant negative effect on the image quality. ACL has an in-house production line for optical bonding (L-OCA). In this process, precisely this interspace is filled with synthetic resin, which firmly bonds the two components together. This "transparent liquid bonding" ensures a much more durable and higher quality unit: Not only is it more stable, but the optical quality of displays, touch and front glasses is also significantly improved. Among other things, optical bonding reduces reflections, images are displayed more clearly, the displays are better protected against dust and moisture, and touch operation is more precise.
Quality for the industrial sector
The optical bonding process also ensures better image depiction and durability when monitors and touch displays are used outdoors or in industrial production facilities. The additional synthetic resin layer makes the devices more resistant to mechanical pressure. Since no air humidity can penetrate even at high temperature fluctuations, the monitors also do not fog up.
